Incorrect Achievement Count Displayed in Facebook Live Ticker Box

Facebook recently released a series of new features to enhance the social browsing and gaming experience for their users. One of these exciting new features is the Live Ticker Box that can found on the right-hand side of your screen. When you are playing Mafia Wars you will notice that, at the top of this ticker, is an area that tracks how many Achievements you have earned on your account.

Mafia Wars began to utilize this area of the Live Ticker Box today, 09/01/2011, and, at this time, the amount of Achievements that players have earned is not being displayed correctly. This information will take several days to populate with the correct numbers, so please do not be alarmed if the number of Achievements you see there is incorrect. During the update process we will also be increasing the number of achievements that can be earned through game-play in the future.

It is important to note that this is only a display issue and that no Achievements were removed from your account. You can always verify your Achievements by following the instructions listed below.

1. Click the Profile button on your account.

2. On the next screen click the Achievements button (Your Achievements). This will populate a list of all the Achievements that are currently available and will show which Achievements you have earned to-date.

As you will see, even if Facebook's Live Ticker Box is temporarily displaying fewer Achievements, your account reports the correct number.

We apologize for any confusion this update may have caused, and, again, you can rest assured that all of your Achievements are still on your account and that the Live Ticker Box will be updated with the correct information in a few days.
