Having more energy in mafia wars lets you level up fast. Most Mafia Wars players devote their skill points on energy because doing jobs lets you gain more experience points, thus lets you level up quickly.
If you haven't completed the Boss Tier in New York and already travelled to other cities, go back now and finish New York first. Completing Boss Tier rewards you with the Golden Throne.
The Golden Throne gives you 2 Energy Points every regeneration instead of 1. You can gain more energy in mafia wars once you have this item. Remember you may skip Underboss Tier and complete the Boss Tier first.
